Dear honorable Mr. Donald John Trump, President of the United States of America,

We thank you for your state visit to the Republic of Korea from 7th to 8th of November.

We, the National Buddhist Council for the Security of Korea, was founded in 2006 by retired general officers whose faith lies deeply in Buddhism, alongside with key Buddhist leaders in order to secure the free democratic order in South Korea.

Mr. President, your excellency's visit to South Korea energized many freedom-supporting South Korean citizens who are concerned for North Korean provocations. In addition, your visit demonstrated a strong faith in support of unified and free Korean Peninsula.

It was very impressive to see you engaging the troops for lunch at Camp Humphreys and your speech to South Korea's parliament was an enlightenment and a boost of morale for the public. It also gave a clear direction of how to resolve the current situation.

We find it very regrettable that your visit to the JSA could not come to realization and for the misbehavior of some protesters targeting your motorcade.

North Korea conducted yet another and more developed missile lunch on the 29th of November. This is a serious challenge to the entire humanity and we should no longer allow time to North Korea.

We send our strong supports and endorsements to Mr. President's firm policy to persuade North Korea to give up its nuclear program.

Crisis is often called a chance.
We hope to see the elimination of the North Korean nuclear threat as early as possible, leading to the contribution of a stable Northeastern Asia.

We pray for continued development of the Combined Forces Command, a living proof of the ROK-US Alliance and the ROK-US friendship until the fall of any challenge to free democracy. Thank you.
